Wisconsin Abortion Fund WAF
No matter your zip code or income, every person deserves access to the health care they need. Due to extreme anti-abortion legislation and social and economic inequities, abortion access in Wisconsin is very restricted.
WAF Wisconsin works to fill the gaps in abortion access by providing financial assistance to Wisconsin residents who need an abortion but cannot afford the full cost.
Your tax-deductible contribution helps Wisconsin residents exercise their legal right to obtain safe and affordable abortion care. Donating to WAF Wisconsin is a generous act of community care, meeting the needs of our neighbors with love and compassion. WAF is a volunteer-led organization, and every dollar makes a difference.
The National Network of Abortion Funds builds power with members to remove financial and logistical barriers to abortion access by centering people who have abortions and organizing at the intersections of racial, economic, and reproductive justice.
What are abortion funds?
Member organizations work across NNAF's network to remove financial and logistical barriers to abortion access. Some of them work with clinics to help pay for your abortion. Some of them offer support such as transportation, childcare, translation, doula services, and somewhere to stay if you have to travel to get your abortion.
NNAF's network organizations are autonomous, diverse, and united to move towards a world we want to live in, where all reproductive options, including abortion, are valued and free of coercion.
There are over 80 organizations in the national network. WMF Wisconsin is one of them.
The Rockford Family Planning Foundation has opened a state-of-the-art family planning health center in Rockford, Illinois.
Their philosophy is that everyone deserves full bodily autonomy and that comprehensive reproductive healthcare is a human right.
